Trac ID Systems was founded in 2005 as a merger between three different Norwegian initiatives all aiming at utilizing RFID technology within the oil and gas industry.
By joining forces it was possible to create a company with the recourses, the competence and the implementation capacity required to gain acceptance in a conservative and quality conscious industry.

Trac ID Systems has a long history of RFID equipment deliveries to the oil and gas industry as well as to the aqua business ranging back to the late 90’s gained through the acquisition of Jojo Automasjon. This is why we today, in addition to targeting the oil and gas industry, also consider the aqua business to be a core market for us.

Gradually, Trac ID Systems have built an organization where innovation strength and professionalism is cultivated. Our staff is composed to cover in depth knowledge and experience within RFID technology and software systems. However, experience from the oil and gas industry and knowledge about the applications and business processes we are aiming to improve is a prerequisite to succeed.
